This year, that honor belongs to the German erotic thriller, the 2025 Fall for Me movie, which began streaming on Netflix today, and quickly shot to the No. 2 slot on the streamer’s Top 10 Trending Titles list. (Trailing just behind the unbeatable K-Pop Demon Hunters.)

1. It’s hard to pick just one sex scene in Fall For Me, a new German Netflix original movie that is, essentially, just soft-core porn. But we’ll go with the one that comes (pun intended) in the middle of the film, in which the two horny lovebirds (played by Svenja Jung and Theo Trebs) do right there in the sand on the beach. It’s starts with a passionate ocean make-out sex, which leads to Jung ripping off her top. (Something she does a lot in the movie. You see a lot of nipple!) The lovers take it to the shore to get down and very, very dirty. You just know some sand ended up in some unsavory places.

3. To keep the theme of outdoor sex going, check out the 2022 Netflix adaptation of Lady’s Chatterley’s Lover. Noble (and married) woman Lady Chatterley (Emma Corrin) cheats on her husband with the lowly but hot gamekeeper, Oliver (Jack O’Connell). Then she starts avoiding him, and he’s pissed. When he finally corners her in the woods, all of that passion and repression leads to some explosive orgasms. It’s dirty, messy, and hot. But I was still worried about ticks.

4. Though the movie is rated R, the Anyone But You sex scene is more PG-13. But that doesn’t mean it’s not still hot. This is Sydney Sweeney and Glen Powell, after all. How could any sex scene with them not be hot? After Bea and Ben are rescued from the shark-infested waters of Sydney Harbor (long story!), their love-hate relationship tips toward the side of “love.” They make out in the shower, still fully clothed.  Powell peels off Sweeney’s sopping wet dress one strap at a time. The clever camera work and carefully placed arms keep you from seeing too much, but the implication alone is steamy enough.

5. Early 2000s sex symbol Megan Fox plays a sex-bot in this sci-fi thriller that flew under the radar when it hit theaters last year, but is now streaming on Netflix. According to regular Decider contributor Jesse Hassenger, the scene where Nick (played by 365 Days hunk Michele Morrone) has sex with his AI bot Alice (Fox), is “soft-pedaled” by Alice mimicking the voice of Nick’s wife. But, apparently, you do see Fox’s butt, so that’s a win in our book.

6. Speaking of Michele Morrone, his 365 Days franchise is one of the most explicit films available to stream on Netflix. After all, the entire point of the franchise is to provide a dubiously ethical vehicle for steamy sex scenes. In the first film, also known as 365 dni, there’s the infamous boat sex scene between the protagonist and the dude who kidnapped her (really), which Decider’s Meghan O’Keefe once called “the closest thing to porn on Netflix.” Wanna skip to the good part? 1:07:40. You’re welcome.

7. The paint-splattered sex scene in the Netflix original erotic thriller Mea Culpa is downright creative. Written and directed by Tyler Perry, of all people, Mea Culpa stars Destiny’s Child Kelly Rowland as a criminal defense attorney who must defend her sexy new client, an artist named Zyair Malloy (Trevante Rhodes) against murder charges. When Rowland finally succumbs to Rhodes’ charms, they do it artist style: By smearing paint all over each other’s bodies. It even goes in some cracks, if you know what I mean. That’s going to be hard to clean up!

8. The premise of this queer coming-of-age movie is that Alia Shawkat and Laia Costa will have sex every hour for a day. So, needless to say, there are quite a few steamy sex scenes to pick from. But one particularly sexy scene features Costa and Shawkat, sans clothes, plastered up against each other, almost as if they are attempting to fuse into one. Queer women, this one is for you.

9. Yes, there are two Glen Powell movies on this list, because he’s just that sexy. Adria Arjona and Powell’s chemistry in Hit Man—the quirky Netflix comedy from Oscar-nominated director Richard Linklater—is off the charts. Powell stars as an undercover posing as a hit man, who falls for one of his “clients.”  The Hit Man sex scenes, cleverly, indulge in the very same kind of role play that Gary engages in for his undercover work. It just comes with a sexy little twist. And though Linklater swears it wasn’t a Top Gun reference, it’s very fun to see Powell get down in dirty in a pilot’s hat.

10. Fun fact: There is a very steamy Ana de Armas sex scene streaming on Netflix at this very moment. You just have to sit through a so-so Netflix political thriller about United Nations diplomat Sérgio Vieira de Mello to get to it. But you might find that it’s worth it for the passionate, simulated lovemaking between de Armas and her co-star Wagner Moura. The lighting may be low, but the hips don’t lie.

11. Netflix audiences already knew Phoebe Dynevor from the steamy original Bridgerton, so it made sense when the streamer acquired this erotic thriller about two finance brokers (Dynevor and Alden Ehrenreich) in a toxic relationship. There’s actually not as much sex as you might expect, but the movie does open with a brilliant period sex scene, and features some hot-as-hell shower sex. Come for the sex, and stay for the psychotic mind games.
