“A play a day keeps the coaches away,” Washington said to laughter at the time.

But some untimely drops and a room crowded with young undrafted receivers ultimately caught up to Washington.

Receiver Jordan Bly – whose father Dre is a Jets assistant defensive backs coach – as well as offensive tackle Jaison Williams and linebacker Dyontae Johnson were also released, as first reported by The Athletic and ESPN.

Undrafted and a member of the practice squad in 2023, Johnson made the Giants’ initial 53-man roster last season but then went on injured reserve. He returned and played in two games.

The Giants have to cut 47 total players between the end of Thursday’s preseason finale and 4 p.m. Tuesday.

Let’s be honest—no matter how stressful the day gets, a good viral video can instantly lift your mood. Whether it’s a funny pet doing something silly, a heartwarming moment between strangers, or a wild dance challenge, viral videos are what keep the internet fun and alive.
