Legendary boozer Sonja Morgan’s townhouse is now a sober living facility

It’s a little like setting up a finishing school in a bordello.

Page Six hears that the new owner of Sonja Morgan’s townhouse is using it, of all things, as a sober living facility.

It’s a striking development, since the beloved blonde, 61, is a legendary drinker, even among reality stars, who are known — as a group — to be partial to a refreshment or two.

Morgan famously struggled for years to off-load the pad.

The former “Real Housewives of New York City” star listed her gorgeous five-story 63rd Street home — where she lived with her J.P. Morgan heir husband, John Adams Morgan, until their 2006 split — in 2019 for $11 million.

It was only after a remodel and multiple reductions that she sold it for $4.5 million in 2024.

We’re told that it’s now an outpost of luxe recovery facility, Release Recovery, which treats substance abuse and mental health issues. Its website highlights its elegant accommodations, some of which may look familiar to viewers of the Bravo smash hit, in which Morgan starred from 2010 until 2021 when the entire original cast was replaced.

Morgan’s relationship with alcohol was a frequent subject on the show.

In 2021, cast mates Ramona Singer, Luann de Lesseps and Leah McSweeney staged something of an intervention after she got into a physical fight with a guest star and smashed a glass fire alarm cover. “I think that it would be absolutely irresponsible and f—– up of us to not say we think the drinking is going to hurt you,” McSweeney told her. “We are worried and we want to help.”

She also caused a stir after getting well-oiled at the taping of the 15th anniversary edition of Bravo chat show “Watch What Happens Live!”

When we told her about her old home’s new life, Morgan said via text: “Hhhhaaaa!” She added that the buyer had told her he planned to live there with his wife, so she’s surprised to hear it.

Her “Sonja In Your City” variety show will be at City Winery on Sept. 5 and she’ll appear on “Celebrity Name That Tune” on Nov. 17.

Release Recovery declined to comment.

Let’s be honest—no matter how stressful the day gets, a good viral video can instantly lift your mood. Whether it’s a funny pet doing something silly, a heartwarming moment between strangers, or a wild dance challenge, viral videos are what keep the internet fun and alive.
