Based on the latest twist of this story Tuesday, it seems like the WNBA is handing a bad deal to Sun ownership.

The Mohegan Tribe stepped up when others — ahem, NBA owners — didn’t. The tribe became the league’s first non-NBA ownership group when it bought the Orlando Miracle in 2003 and relocated the team to Uncasville, Conn.
