Neighbors were shocked by the violence and said they watched in horror as the victim’s friend attempted to revive his fallen pal.

“The kid on the lawn, he was pale. I didn’t know where he had gotten struck, so I was like, ‘Is he going to be OK?’ It was upsetting,” Angela Knice told News 12.

“His friend was there with him like, ‘Stay with me, stay awake.’ He was really there for him. It was crazy.”

Knice said she initially thought the sound of gunshots was fireworks, News 12 reported.

The home where the party popped off has been a problem in the area for years, according to neighbors.

An eviction notice was issued to the four families living at the property back in June, according to the outlet.

No arrests have been made in connection with the shooting and the investigation is ongoing.
