New Movies & Shows To Stream This Weekend: Night Always Comes, Limitless: Live Better Now, The Legend of Ochi + More

Vanessa Kirby stars in Netflix’s gritty drama Night Always Comes, along with Jennifer Jason Leigh and Zack Gottsagen, with appearances from Julia Fox and Randall Park, too. The film arrives on Friday. On Disney+, you can learn how to optimize your life and health from Thor himself, Chris Hemsworth, with the latest season of his reality series Limitless: Live Better Now. And if you grew up on movies like The Dark Crystal, you’ll probably enjoy The Legend of Ochi, a film that also blends fantasy and puppetry for a totally unique and original story. The A24 film arrives this Friday on HBO Max.

Vanessa Kirby stars in the new Netflix film Night Always Comes as a woman desperate to scrape together enough money so her family can keep their home. The hook? She only has one night to do it. With the clock running, she sets out to collect old debts in hopes that it will help keep a roof over her head. The film, out Friday, is based on the 2021 novel The Night Always Comes by Willy Vlautin.

If you’ve ever wondered how to improve the length and quality of your life (and not just by eating raw meat and PEDs the way the Liver King does it), Chris Hemsworth is here with answers. Hemsworth’s popular Disney+ series Limitless is back for a new season this week, and in it, he uses scientific research and endured a series of trials challenges to better understand the limits of the human body.

Written and directed by Isaiah Saxon in his feature film debut, The Legend of Ochi is an A24 fantasy adventure about a girl named Yuri (Helena Zengel) who has been brought up to fear the Ochi, a monkey-like creature that lives on the secluded island where she lives. When Yuri encounters an injured baby Ochi, she embarks on a quest to return it to its family. The film co-stars Finn Wolfhard, and Willem Dafoe and it drops on HBO Max this Friday.
