Trump admin plans to flood Washington with over 100 federal agents in push to make capital ‘great again’
WASHINGTON — The Trump administration plans to flood the streets of Washington, DC, with more than 100 FBI agents as a part of the president’s vow to make the nation’s capital “great again,” according to sources.
Trump is expected to announce the additional surge in federal law enforcement at his Monday press conference, a source familiar with the plan told The Post, confirming that 120 FBI agents will be reassigned.

The agents will assist local law enforcement, which is a rarity as the FBI does not typically patrol with the DC Metropolitan Police Department.
The announcement, set for 10 am, comes as Trump cracked down on crime in the capital over the weekend.
He’s threatened to federalize the city if the violence, especially committed by teens, doesn’t drop.
Last Sunday, a 19-year-old former Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) staffer was beaten and bloodied by a mob of 10 minors during a violent carjacking attempt.
Trump teased Monday morning that DC will be “liberated” after his press conference.
“Washington, D.C. will be LIBERATED today! Crime, Savagery, Filth, and Scum will DISAPPEAR. I will, MAKE OUR CAPITAL GREAT AGAIN! The days of ruthlessly killing, or hurting, innocent people, are OVER! I quickly fixed the Border (ZERO ILLEGALS in last 3 months!), D.C. is next!!!” Trump wrote on Truth Social.
