Jason and Kylie Kelce attend funeral for dad Ed’s girlfriend

Jason and Kylie Kelce were by the side of the family patriarch, Ed, as he laid to rest his girlfriend, Maureen Maguire, during a memorial service in Pennsylvania on Thursday. 

Ed announced Maguire’s passing on  Aug. 2 in a Facebook post that included a link to an obituary, which said she died “peacefully surrounded by her loved ones.” 

Photos obtained by The Post show Jason Kelce and wife Kylie outside St. John Vianney Church in Gladwyne, Pa., with the former wearing a button-down shirt, a tie, and black slacks while the latter donned a black dress. 

Ed wore a full suit, a separate image showed, and he helped carry Maguire’s casket during the service. 

Jason and Kylie Kelce arrived five minutes before the start of the funeral service, the Daily Mail reported. 

“Maureen found joy in life’s simple pleasures. She loved the beach — especially the shore — and had a deep affection for dogs,” part of her obituary read. “In recent years, she spent treasured time in Cape May with her family, enjoying peaceful days by the ocean. She also grew an unexpected love for football later in life, sharing many laughs and adventures with her beloved friend Ed Kelce and her loyal dog Butch. Together, they traveled often and attended football games and concerts, and embraced every opportunity to enjoy life to the fullest.”

Maguire attended football games with Ed, and, in separate interviews last year, talked about instances where Maguire had several funny interactions with Travis Kelce’s pop icon girlfriend, Taylor Swift. 

He told the Los Angeles Times about a time when the trio posed for a picture with one another, with Ed standing next to Swift. 

Maguire, Ed explained, jokingly said, “Hey, that’s my boyfriend.”

In an interview with 92.3 The Fan, Ed described a moment early on in his interactions with Swift where he couldn’t remember her name.

“Taylor comes in, walks in with a security guard and I look at her … and I had my girlfriend with me and I mention to Maureen, ‘Oh, my God, I know this kid, but I don’t know what her name is.’ Geez, you know, like a real idiot,” he recalled. 

Maguire responded to him, Ed explained, “‘You don’t know her? This is Taylor Swift, you idiot.’”

Neither Travis Kelce nor Swift attended the service on Thursday.

Travis is at Chiefs’ training camp in Kansas City.
