‘Jurassic World Rebirth’ Comes to Digital But When Will ‘Jurassic World Rebirth’ Be Streaming on Peacock?

Summer’s not over yet, and you can enjoy these last summer days by watching a big summer movie, Jurassic World Rebirth, at home, now that Jurassic World Rebirth is coming to digital platforms to buy and rent online.

Directed by Gareth Edwards, and produced by Steven Spielberg’s Amblin Entertainment, Jurassic World Rebirth was penned by the original Jurassic Park co-writer David Koepp, who also wrote the 1997 sequel, The Lost World: Jurassic Park. Rebirth features a brand-new cast (bye bye Chris Pratt!) led by Scarlett Johansson, a covert op specialist who leads a dangerous mission to a remote, tropical location where the majority of dinosaurs now reside. When will these people ever learn to stop going to the land of the dinos? It never works out!

Also starring Mahershala Ali, Jonathan Bailey, Rupert Friend, Manuel Garcia-Rulfo, and Ed Skrein, Jurassic World Rebirth was, like all the Jurassic movies, a huge hit at the box office, raking in over $766 million worldwide. Now Universal hopes to make even more money off the movie with the premium video-on-demand release. But before you spend $30 to watch the movie at home, you should know that we expect to see Jurassic World Rebirth streaming on Peacock before the end of the year.

Where to watch the Jurassic World Rebirth movie on streaming:

Beginning on Tuesday, August 5 at 12 a.m. Eastern Time (which is also August 4 at 9 p.m. Pacific Time) Jurassic World Rebirth movie will be available to buy and rent digitally on Amazon Prime, Apple TVFandango At Home, and more. The price may vary depending on which platform you use to purchase the film, but on Amazon Prime the film costs $29.99 to buy a digital copy, and $24.99 to rent. If you rent the movie, you’ll have 48 hours to watch the movie after hitting “play.”

Jurassic World Rebirth is not yet streaming on any subscription streaming services, but we do expect to see Jurassic World Rebirth streaming on Peacock soon, because it is a Universal movie and Peacock is the streaming service owned by Universal.

Peacock currently offers two subscription types: Premium with ads and Premium Plus ad-free. Peacock Premium costs $10.99/month, while Premium Plus costs $16.99/month.

You can save a bit by subscribing to one of Peacock’s annual plans, which give you 12 months for the price of 10. These cost either $109.99 with ads or $169.99 without ads.

When will Jurassic World Rebirth movie be streaming on Peacock?

The Jurassic World Rebirth streaming release date on Peacock has not yet been announced, but we know that Jurassic World Rebirth will stream on Peacock eventually because it is a Universal movie, and Peacock is the streaming service owned by Universal. All the new Universal theatrical movies end up streaming on Peacock, though the wait period has varied by title.

Another big-budget Universal release, Wicked, began streaming on Peacock about four months after the movie opened in theaters.

If Jurassic World Rebirth follows a similar release pattern, you might see the movie streaming on Peacock around early November 2025.

This is all speculation. Universal has not had a consistent digital release strategy. Many of the Universal movies have gone on to Peacock just three months after the theatrical release date. So it’s possible Jurassic World Rebirth will be streaming as soon as early October 2025. If you want to watch Jurassic World Rebirth movie right away, you can buy or rent the movie on digital platforms starting tomorrow.
