Man, 23, fatally run over by ex-girlfriend’s new beau in love triangle clash on NYC street: cops
A 23-year-old man – who may have been armed with a gun – was fatally run over by his ex-girlfriend’s new boyfriend in a love triangle clash in the middle of a Queens street Thursday night, cops said.
Shaivar Sonalall, 23, followed his ex – who was riding in a car with her 31-year-old new beau behind the wheel – to 101st Street and Liberty Boulevard in Ozone Park around 10:40 p.m., authorities and sources said.

Sonalall approached the driver’s side window and flashed what appeared to be a gun – startling the motorist to the point that he drove off, striking the menace, police said.
Someone called 911, and officers found Sonalall lying in the street with severe body trauma, cops said.
He was rushed to Jamaica Hospital Medical Center, where he succumbed to his injuries, police said.
The driver was initially taken into custody at the scene – but the Queens District Attorney’s Office opted not to charge him because he feared for his life when he struck Sonalall, cops and sources said.
