Over the course of the HBO MAX show’s three seasons, Miranda has had a drinking problem, divorce, embarrassing viral meme moment, and a partner named Che Diaz (Sara Ramirez). Just when it seemed like things were finally going great for Miranda, her 20-year-old son Brady (Niall Cunningham) reveals that he knocked someone up. Steve’s (David Eigenberg) subsequent meltdown and Miranda’s equally cringe meeting with Brady’s baby mama are two of the most unhinged scenes in all of Sex and the City history. And Just Like That... makes Miranda a grandmother in the most uncomfortable and confusing way possible because they play it all for laughs.

Early in And Just Like That… Season 3 Episode 10 “Better Than Sex,” Brady treats his parents to a nice home-cooked meal to butter them up for the two bombshells he’s about to drop on their laps. First, he reveals that he wants to become a chef. This is good news to Steve and Miranda because it means their son has plans to be employed. Then, he shares that he got a girl pregnant. Not just that, but it’s a girl he’s only hooked up with a few times. He doesn’t even know her last name. He only found out she was expecting because they bumped into each other in the street.

Control freak Miranda is naturally aghast, but Steve unleashes biblical levels of fury. He screams as though Brady is dead. He berates his son for ruining his life by, I don’t know, impregnating a young woman who doesn’t even care if he’s in the baby’s life or not. He storms out in a way that makes you wonder if we’ll ever see him again. Perhaps he will self-immolate on the street.

Miranda might not be melting down quite so badly, but she doesn’t exactly take the news well. When she learns that Brady’s baby mama Mia (Ella Stiller) works at a salon in Brooklyn, she asks Charlotte (Kristin Davis) to help her stalk the poor thing. It turns out that Mia is a spacey shampoo girl keeping the baby because of the astrology vibes. Miranda shames the young woman for being a single mom and the conversation soon becomes awkward. When Miranda outs herself as Brady’s mom, Mia is understandably offended. She sprays Miranda with water and points out how messed up this behavior is.

So who is Mia? Will we see her again? And why might actress Ella Stiller seem familiar?? Here’s everything you need to know about Miranda’s new nemesis, Mia, the mother of Brady’s baby…

Who Plays Mia on And Just Like That? All About Ella Stiller, aka Ben Stiller’s Daughter:

In And Just Like That…, Mia is a shampoo girl in Brooklyn who, yes, is having Brady’s baby. She doesn’t want him involved, however, and gets very offended when Miranda tries to worm her way into the unborn baby’s life.

Mia is played by 23-year-old actress Ella Stiller. Yes, she is Ben Stiller and Christine Taylor’s daughter. That also makes her the granddaughter of legendary comics Jerry Stiller and Anne Meara.

Ella is currently starring opposite The Summer I Turned Pretty star Christopher Briney in the off-Broadway play Dilaria through August 8. You can also catch her as a Liquor Store Cashier in Netflix’s latest hit movie, Happy Gilmore 2, as well as in Hubie Halloween. It’s unclear if Mia will return to And Just Like That…
