Their brief nine-concert outing is slated to send the 13-member group to venues all over the U.S. but not New York or New Jersey.

S.Coups, Jeonghan, Joshua, Jun, Hoshi, Wonwoo, Woozi, DK, Mingyu, The8, Seungkwan, Vernon and Dino will get closest when they wrap their stateside run with a pair of concerts at Washington, D.C.’s Capital One Arena on Wednesday, Oct. 29 and Thursday, Oct. 30.

These concerts come on the heels of the release of the group’s fifth studio album “Happy Burstday.” The high-energy, 16-song record features solo tracks from each member of the group as well as special guests Pharrell and Timbaland.

“We are ready to reinvent ourselves,” S.Coups told The Hollywood Reporter.

“Most of the members are going to enlist in the military soon. Up until now, we’ve mostly focused on our group promotions,” Hoshi added. “We would like to show more of our individualities, each of the members’ personalities and capabilities, so that when the time comes and we get back together again as a group, we‘ll be able to showcase ourselves as a better Seventeen.”

In conjunction with the unique album, the group performed a short concert at South Korea’s Jamsu Bridge on May 25. According to Set List FM, they took just 12 songs to the stage and only two from the new album.

If you’d like to find out what they have in store for the ‘[NEW_] World Tour,’ tickets are available for all shows.

Seventeen new music

On May 26, Seventeen released their fifth studio album “Happy Burstday.”

As expected, there are a lot of flavors at play over the course of the 16-track, 49-minute record since each group member has a solo track of their own.

To get things underway, the squad’s nervy, energetic “HBD” sets the tone. Upbeat hand-claps, beat drops, surprisingly heavy guitar riffs and a mix of Korean and English lyrics make for the perfect party-starter. We know we’re already bopping along.

Other highlights include the radio-friendly jam “Thunder,” old-school, Pharrell-produced “Bad Influence,” moody slice of pop “Skyfall” (The 8’s solo), jaunty piano crowd-pleaser “99.9%” (Wonwoo’s solo) and industrial robo epic “Damage” (HOSHI’s solo feat. Timbaland’s signature bleeps, bloops and slinky synths).

Truth be told, we also loved Mingyu’s hypnotic “Shake It Off,” S. COUPS’ “Jungle” (it’s perfect for cardio and the club) and DINO’s ’00s throwback “Trigger,” which sounds straight out of 2006. We love the production and his vocals over the summery instrumentals.
