Lily Collins Shares Glimpse at First Easter with Baby Daughter Tove

Lily Collins is cherishing moments from her baby’s first Easter!

The actress shared a collection of photos from her holiday, including details of baby Tove Jane’s first Easter. In a post to Instagram, Collins chronicled one of many special firsts for her, Tove and husband Charlie McDowell.

In the first photo, Collins posed in a pink knit sweater with white bunnies, an outfit corresponding with Tove’s white bunny slippers. Another snap showed Tove’s whole outfit laid out — her slippers, a knit jumper with a bunny face stitched onto it, and a matching knit hat.

“Our little Easter bunny,” Collins captioned the post.

More photos showed a sweet Easter table setup for the family of three, including pink napkins, blue glasses and detailed painted eggs. At some point during the day, Tove got an outfit change and sported a long-sleeved ruffled pink shirt with a bunny embroidered on the front and tan corduroy pants.

McDowell also shared a sweet father-daughter Easter moment. On his Instagram Stories, he posted a photo of Tove on his chest in a baby carrier: “Dad mode activated,” he wrote over the snap.

Collins and McDowell, who wed in September 2021, welcomed Tove earlier this year via surrogate, they announced on Jan. 31.

“Welcome to the center of our world Tove Jane McDowell,” the couple wrote in a joint post. “Words will never express our endless gratitude for our incredible surrogate and everyone who helped us along the way. We love you to the moon and back again…”

Last month, Collins marked her “first birthday as a mama,” and detailed the time in her life as a “magical year.” She posted a series of photos with McDowell and their newborn Tove to celebrate the occasion.

“First birthday as a mama and I truly couldn’t be happier or imagine it being any more special,” Collins wrote in her caption. “What a magical year it’s been and what a beautiful year I’m stepping into. Grateful doesn’t even begin to express how I feel.”
