Vanessa Hudgens pregnant, expecting 2nd baby with Cole Tucker

On Saturday, Vanessa Hudgens announced that she and her husband, Cole Tucker, are expecting their second child together. The two welcomed their first child in July 2024.

“Round two!!!!,” the “High School Musical” alum, 36, wrote on Instagram beneath a carousel of maternity pictures.

In the snaps, Hudgens and Tucker, 29, donned matching white outfits as they posed outdoors.

One photo showed the baseball star pointing to the singer’s stomach, while another shot had the couple holding hands and smiling.

Friends immediately flocked to the comments section to share their excitement.

Fellow Disney Channel alum Aly Michalka wrote, “Omg!!!!!!!! Congrats,” while Jenna Dewan chimed in, “Ohhhhh congratulations my love!!”

Corey Cott, who Hudgens starred in the Broadway show “Gigi” with, penned, “Congrats V!”

Days before the baby announcement, the “Spring Breakers” actress shouted out the athlete in a sweet social media post.

“Happy birthday to my best friend/lover/partner in life,” Hudgens gushed. “@cotuck you’re everything to meeeeeee. No one does it better. 🥳🎂😘.”

Tucker replied, “You’re the best mama thank you ❤️.”

The pair first met in 2020 on a Zoom meditation group.

A year later, Tucker opened up about Hudgens for the first time during an MLB spring training interview.

“I got a girlfriend and she’s cool. She’s awesome, I love her,” he said, according to KDKA. “But I don’t want it to be, ‘Oh, Cole’s dating Vanessa … ‘”

“I don’t want it to be treated any differently than Mitch [Keller] having his wife down, or Ke’Bryan [Hayes] having his girlfriend come down,” noted Tucker. “She’s great. She’ll be around. You will see her, but you saw the headline, it is what it is.”

Months later, Hudgens echoed her partner’s sentiments.

“He’s just kind of perfect for me,” she explained to Entertainment Tonight. “I am [happy]. I really am. I think that it’s also so important to stay grateful for everything that you have in life. I’ve been making that a priority, and I feel like it’s just been making magic happen all the more.”

Hudgens and Tucker went on to tie the knot in 2023 in Tulum, Mexico.

“I felt like I was transported to some kind of utopia, unlike anything I had ever been to before,” she told Vogue about their nuptials in 2023. “It was whimsical and magical, and I just fell in love.”

Last July, TMZ was the first to report the news that Hudgens had given birth.

“We’re disappointed that our family’s privacy was disrespected and exploited during this very special time due to the greed of a long lens camera feeding the media,” the “Princess Switch” alum wrote on her Instagram Stories on July 4.

Hudgens added, “Despite all of that, mom dad and baby are happy and healthy.”

The husband and wife recently enjoyed a date night out in March while at the Vanity Fair Oscar Party in Beverly Hills.

Tucker and Hudgens were photographed kissing on the carpet before heading into the star-studded bash.
