Giants benefit from Chris Manhertz’s experience after carving out useful role
Among the 18 offensive teammates who just gathered around Giants quarterback Russell Wilson near his home in San Diego, Chris Manhertz has the most NFL games played but one of the lowest career receptions totals.
There is an important lesson in there that Manhertz can share with the 175 players (ages 10-18) scheduled to attend his third annual free football camp at 10 a.m. Saturday at his alma mater, Cardinal Spellman High School in The Bronx.

“Everybody doesn’t have to be Travis Kelce to sustain and prove themselves in this league,” Manhertz told The Post. “There’s a wealth of roles available, and you have to adapt to stick around. A lot of it for me, especially in the beginning, was figuring out a way to create value in areas that other people can’t or won’t. A lot of that has been my edge in the run game and blocking.”
Just days before hosting his camp, Manhertz spoke after a “physically taxing” 90 minutes of route-running and an hour workout with Wilson’s private trainer.
Let’s be honest—no matter how stressful the day gets, a good viral video can instantly lift your mood. Whether it’s a funny pet doing something silly, a heartwarming moment between strangers, or a wild dance challenge, viral videos are what keep the internet fun and alive.
