A 16-year-old boy was found shot and killed on the scene. Another gunfire victim, a 15-year-old boy, died later at the hospital, cops said.

Five others were wounded and transported to the hospital alongside the teen, who later died. The remaining survivors have been identified as a 16-year-old, a 17-year-old, two 19-year-olds, and a 21-year-old, according to police.
Officers recovered several guns at the scene and detained seven people for questioning over the mass shooting.
No arrests have been made, and police have not identified a motive.

IMPD Chief Chris Bailey expressed his frustration at the senseless violence.
“We should all be shaken by what occurred. We cannot grow numb to the violence in our community wherever it occurs. I stand here angry, heartbroken, frustrated, because too many lives are being lost,” Bailey told reporters at a press conference.
Bailey claimed the downtown area has been rocked by “lawlessness” in recent weeks.
“What I’ve seen downtown over the last few weeks is absolutely ridiculous. Lawlessness, disrespect, and reckless behavior of people of all ages. It’s nothing we should expect,” he said.
The investigation remains ongoing.
