Post Wanted Buys: What our pro shopping team loves right now
There are products we rigorously test for our guides — ones like the best face cleansers and best espresso machines — and then there are others we stumble upon.
I’m talking about the types of products you impulse-buy and happily discover while scrolling or, in our case, working. It’s these types of items we’re constantly slacking about as a team, mostly with sentences that end in 15 exclamation marks. After much discussion, we decided to share them with you, our readers.

Below, find the Post Wanted Buys: the passion edit of products we can’t live without.

God knows I need more coffee cups, but when I saw these, I instantly placed them on my Christmas wishlist (and received them!) I felt like leaving my Nespresso machine at home to trek to the office was like abandoning my firstborn, but these leakproof, commuter-friendly glasses are what I’m using daily.

Banana Republic is a team-wide favorite for workwear.
“I gravitate to classic clothing, and every woman needs a solid pair of trousers,” Holly J Coley, commerce deputy editor, noted. “These have an easy fit (always very cool looking), plus they have pockets!”

As Post Wanted’s streaming writer, Angela Tricarico knows the ins and outs of every major streaming service (and a lot of the smaller ones, too!), but this one is her “desert island streaming service.”
“If I could only have one for the rest of my life, it would be HBO Max,” Tricarico admits. “Why? Because it has everything! Past and present HBO shows, Max originals like ‘The Pitt,’ Warner Bros. films, movies from A24, Hollywood classics via TCM, DC Studios, and the Discovery networks (Food Network, HGTV, Magnolia) — you name it, HBO Max probably has it.”

“I just received these slippers as a Christmas gift and they’re a new favorite!” Meaghan Seward, commerce audience optimization and discovery senior strategist, shared.
The padding and fluff make these ultra comfortable and warm, and the fabric and pile feel very high quality.
“I can tell that even with daily wear, these will help me survive many New York winters to come,” she added.

“To combat dull winter skin, I layer on products that impart glow,” Erica Radol, Page Six commerce reporter, highlighted. “111Skin is a celeb-loved, doctor-founded brand, known for its bestselling face masks, but I love this serum for every day.”
With a subtle mica shimmer that gives skin radiance (as promised), but also glycerin and rose water for hydration and soothing, it’s a pricey serum, but worth it, per Radol.

TikTok recommendations can be hit or miss, but Adam Schubak, commerce senior manager of growth, was influenced to try out this electric screwdriver and now he feels the need to pay it forward.
“I’m not a big DIY-er, but I try to take care of little household projects myself when I can and this little guy has come in handy countless times,” he shared. “I pull it out to handle everything from furniture assembly to just swapping out batteries, and it delivers every time.”

Call it being in my “grandma era” or whatever, but I was on the hunt for soft, quilted placemats for my dining room table after growing irritated that my cute, scalloped wicker ones were about to scratch my table. I love how these affordable ones add a pop of pastel color and life to my neutral space, and they’re the ideal size for your dinner plate and glass.

Need a new sweater? It’s time to shop at Everlane.
“This sweater wears close enough to the body to highlight your form but can still be easily layered over a button-up,” Coley described. “I also have a soft spot for anything made with alpaca.”

“I’ve recently become obsessed with fragrances and Skylar’s Scent Club has been such an affordable way to build a collection,” Tricarico noted. “For just $20 a month, you’ll get one 10 milliliter rollerball, and you’re able to choose either the brand new scent club-exclusive for the month or anything else from Skylar’s catalog if the scent of the month doesn’t seem like it would be for you.”
Her favorites? Gourmands and fruity scents, which were what initially drew her to Skylar.

“Another little luxury I enjoy in my daily routine is my Quince robe,” Seward shared. “This robe combines the perfect weight for a waffle weave and the softness of Turkish cotton. I love that it has just the slightest oversized fit to be extra cozy and comfortable, plus the pockets are perfect.”
Seward also shares that this robe gets softer with every wash.

“I’ve had other Charlotte Tilbury Plumpgasm lip plumpers, but this one takes the cake,” Radol attested. “It has a delectable chocolate scent, gorgeous milky-pink tint, and looks stunning on its own or over lipstick.”
It’s supposed to be limited-edition, but we’re *really* hoping the brand makes it permanent!

“I have a lot of gadgets and having to find the correct cable to charge all of them can be an annoying experience, especially when I’m packing for a trip,” Schubak said. “I bought this 4-in-1 option to alleviate that frustration by allowing me to use the adapters to juice up all of my devices.”
Great enough, he found it so useful that he’s a proud owner of three of them: one for home, one for travel and one for work.

Although I’m deep in my K-beauty rotation, the Youth To The People Superfood Air-Whip Moisture Cream is one of the rare moisturizers I use at night that has a lovely finish and makes my skin feel well-hydrated. Packed with hyaluronic acid (and kale, and spinach — why not put greens on your face?), it’s a lovely option that rivals some more expensive formulas I’ve tried.

Your favorite childhood vanilla scent got a glow-up and it’s to die for. “By Rosie Jane’s Dulce is a creamy, sweet vanilla gourmand that’s also earthy and warm,” Tricarico shared, royally obsessed with the fragrance. “One of my favorite things about the perfume, other than the scent itself, is how long it lasts on my skin. Perfection!”

“I don’t need a ‘new year, new me’ to motivate myself to meal prep — thanks to my indoor grill,” Seward said. “My husband and I love to batch prep lots of grilled chicken and veggies to use for lunches throughout the work week. This indoor grill makes it not only possible but easy (even in our NYC apartment).”

“This luxe pajama brand caught my eye because stars like Gwyneth Paltrow and Kourtney Kardashian wear it — but wow, when I tried for myself it was an eye-opening moment!” Radol said. “I have never felt something so soft and luxurious, and I’m kind of hooked now on the posh sets.”

Like most other Pinterest users, I’ve been obsessed with the idea of piecing together a gallery wall for my home’s upstairs hallway. I purchased these frames, placed eight of them in rows across my wall and saved the spare one for my bedroom. They’re high quality — a 9-pack for the same price as one frame elsewhere!

Once a Pixar kid, always a Pixar kid.
“If you’ve seen a Pixar movie, you know Luxo Jr. — the lamp from the studio’s title card, and when I scanned LEGO new releases a few months ago, my interest was immediately piqued by this adorable little set with Luxo Jr. and the iconic Pixar ball,” Tricarico shared. “It’s a perfect mid-size build that also features tons of Pixar easter eggs within the set.”

“The COSRX Snail Mucin has been an absolute staple in my skincare routine for more than two years, to the point where it’s now included in my Amazon Subscribe & Save rotation,” Seward noted. “I love how lightweight but hydrating this serum is, and it really makes a difference in my skin’s glow.”

“I’m denim-obsessed, and consider a good pair of jeans my ride-or-die,” Radol shared. “Nashville-based imogene + willie has an American-made vibe with a timeless, retro aesthetic that I’ve fallen hard for.”
The label’s jeans are effortlessly cool, break in for a bespoke fit, and will last for years — making them worth the price tag.

“Maybe it’s the years of wearing a Catholic school uniform talking, but I’ve long been searching for a longer-lasting pair of tights to get me through the winter months — and NOOSH is it,” Seward highlighted. “I’ve tried them all, and this is the only pair that delivers on rip-resistance, plus the sizing is great and comfortable.”
