Sources said the teen was being sought in connection with reports of shots fired at an intersection near the Bronx Museum of the Arts on Dec. 27.
He was charged with criminal possession of a firearm following the Monday bust, the NYPD said.
Then, at 11:10 a.m., police descended onto Long Island City High School and nabbed a 15-year-old student who had a gun hidden in his backpack, the NYPD said.
Sources told The Post that an eagle-eyed staff member noticed that the student was armed and notified the school safety agent, who in turn reported it to police.
The boy was charged with two counts of criminal possession of a weapon, police said.
