Abrams is now behind an upcoming restaurant at 46 West 22nd Street — to be called Danny’s, which will be “an American wine bistro,” the anchor confirms. (The space previously housed Mareluna.)

We hear that Abrams is aiming to open at the end of September, and is currently interviewing an impressive array of potential chefs. New interior design is underway.

The oenophile anchor says the wine list will feature labels from “states that people didn’t know made great wines — like New York, Virginia, Texas, Colorado and Michigan.” (Make America grape again?)

Abrams also owns the Long Island winery Ev&Em Vineyards, named after his children.

Danny’s vibes will evoke the old Elaine’s mixed with a Keith McNally restaurant and Ralph Lauren’s Polo Bar, Abrams tells us, with an old-school feel, banquettes, old phots and a mural.

The eatery will also have art that celebrates the Ladies’ Mile Historic District, where its located.

White Street was known for drawing a power crowd from the worlds of media, politics, fashion and Hollywood, and patrons at the time included ABC News talent George Stephanopoulos and Robin Roberts, David Lauren and Lauren Bush Lauren and President Obama, along with a mix of movie stars.

But that was a 220 seat restaurant in desolate Tribeca, whereas Danny’s will be a more intimate 75 seats and is in Abrams own Madison Square Park neighborhood.

The Lion was also a breakout spot when it opened in 2010.

Abrams sold his Law&Crime Network in 2023 to Jellysmack in a lucrative deal, and we hear he was looking for some fun new projects to tackle.

He is also the CEO and founder of Abrams Media, which includes Mediaite.
