Creepy Long Island driving instructor shared porn videos with teens: police

A weirdo Long Island driving instructor was busted for allegedly sharing porn videos and photos on his phone with three teenage boys, Suffolk County police said.

Mitchell Lerner, 75, who worked for Defensive Driving School in Central Islip, had three driving students in the car on Dec. 22 when cops say he shared dirty dirty pics and clips with the youngsters.
Police said they were tipped off about the troubling incident and launched an investigation — with Lerner finally arrested Sunday and charged with three counts of endangering the welfare of a child.
Driving school president Barry Becker told The Post on Monday he initially suspended Lerner, who had worked for him for about four years and had an excellent performance record.
But he said he fired him after hearing the gritty details and the charges on local TV news.
“This came as a shock,” Becker said. “It’s not something we tolerate at all.”
Meanwhile, Lerner neighbor Patricia Fehlker told News12 Long Island she was still in disbelief.
“I would be shocked,” she said. “I have always felt that he was a good man and I hope it is proven to be a misunderstanding.”
Lerner was arrested at his home and released on a desk appearance ticket.
Suffolk County cops are asking anyone else with information about a similar encounter with Lerner to reach out to police at 631-854-8326.
