Glen Powell stuns fans with new look on Golden Globe’s red carpet

Glen Powell has debuted a bold new look at the 2026 Golden Globe Awards.

The Chad Powers star, 37, stepped onto the red carpet sporting noticeably longer hair than his usual cropped cut, with fans quick to label the style a “baby mullet.”

His dirty blonde hair was worn in a deep side part, paired with glasses, a blue velvet tuxedo, and a classic bow tie.

His hair transformation immediately drew mixed reactions online.

“Why does Glen Powell’s hair always look like a wig?” one user wrote on X.

Another was less forgiving: “Hair stylist did him dirty.”

“He can go home and come back later to try again bc this was not it,” another post read.

Some fans didn’t even recognise the actor at first glance.

“Wait cuz I thought that was Brad Pitt,” one user joked, while another added: “He’s the Brad Pitt of the moment.”

But not everyone was critical, with plenty of fans on board with his new look.

“Long hair Glen Powell oh YES,” one fan tweeted, while another declared: “Blonde Glen Powell nation we are so f**king back.”

Powell was nominated for Best Actor in a Television Series – Musical or Comedy for his role in Chad Powers. The series sees Powell play a washed-up football star who disguises himself in a last-ditch attempt to chase championship glory with a struggling team.

Off-screen, Powell has also made headlines for his romance with Michelle Randolph, 28.

The actor has reportedly been dating the Landman star for several months.
