Contrary to her Glinda era, the pop star, 32, chose an all-black look, iced out with bright white diamonds, but her off-the-shoulder dress made her on-screen character proud in silhouette.

With a fitted bodice, Grande’s gown took on it’s own shape, tucked and bustled as it exploded in volume from her waist to her toes. On her left shoulder, the strap was tied with a velvet bow.

Her slick-back ‘do boasted a swoop of hair that framed the right side of her face and a full 1950s-style high ponytail.

It was all the better to see her jewels, as Grande chose a glittery diamond necklace that looked like tiny, sparkling bubbles (a Glinda ode) and timeless diamond stud earrings. She wore a single diamond ring on her right hand.

And, though Grande might have kept it relatively simple when it came to her jewelry, “Wicked” director Jon M. Chu decorated his tuxedo lapel with two beaded brooches created in the forms of both Grande as well as her co-star Cynthia Erivo.

Grande’s likeness was created by Nerdbead, with 9,000 Swarovski crystals depicting her profile.

Her latest look comes on the heels of the ethereal Alberta Ferretti gown, inspired by Diahann Carroll’s Oscars 1969 dress, that she wore to the 2026 Critics’ Choice Awards.

The press tours for both “Wicked” movies — the second of which hit theaters in November — were a fashion phenomena that included a parade of pink looks from the star, who is nominated in the best supporting actress category for her role in “Wicked: For Good.”

Grande took method dressing to the next level by pulling from some major vintage archives over the course of this most recent tour.

She channeled Glinda’s pink bubble in a custom Balenciaga gown, covered in sequins and paillettes, while in Singapore, a vintage Bob Mackie pink gown for “Wicked: One Wonderful Night” and a show-stopping Schiaparelli ballgown at last year’s Oscars.

She even opted for Elphaba’s black, though in keeping with Glinda’s signature feminine silhouette, wearing a duo of vintage Gilbert Adrian gowns in London; Adrian was the costume designer of the 1939 “Wizard of Oz,” adding even more historical significance to her choice.

Co-star Cynthia Erivo, who has been in lockstep with the homages to her slice of Oz on the red carpet, is also up for an award: best actress in a musical or comedy.

“Wicked” is also up for cinematic and box office achievement and two original songs are also nominated: “No Place Like Home,” sung by Erivo, and “The Girl in the Bubble,” sung by Grande.
