Shootings near West Point, Mississippi leave six dead
A madman killed six people in a shooting spree that spanned multiple areas in Mississippi Friday night, police said.
“Unfortunately tonight we have dealt with tragedy in our community. Multiple innocent lives lost due to violence,” Clay County Sheriff Eddie Scott said on Facebook early Saturday morning.

The shootings took place at three different locations near West Point, he told WTVA, adding that six people were killed.
The sole suspect has been taken into custody.
