“Many of you have been told this law enforcement officer wasn’t hit by a car, wasn’t being harassed, and murdered an innocent woman.
“The reality is that his life was endangered and he fired in self defense.”
The new video, recorded on the cell phone of ICE officer Jonathan Ross, shows Renee’s wife, Rebecca, mocking federal officers outside the couple’s SUV while Renee was in the driver’s seat with the window down.
As the situation escalates, an officer instructs Renee to exit the car – but the 37-year-old mother of three instead puts the car in motion as Rebecca tells her to drive away, according to the video.
Minnesota lawmakers, including Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey, have decried Ross’ actions while the Trump administration has argued Good “willfully” drove into him, forcing him to use deadly force.
