Girl Scout cookie season kicked off Wednesday with a mouthwatering new flavor inspired by rocky road ice cream.

The sweets-slinging group debuted a new sandwich cookie dubbed Exploremores, which feature marshmallow and toasted almond-flavored crème between two crunchy chocolate wafers.
The new baked good on the block hits the market alongside cookie jar classics such as Thin Mints, Caramel deLites (aka Samoas), and Peanut Butter Patties (aka Tagalongs).
“Girl Scout Cookie season is always a moment of joy and tradition, and this year promises to be incredibly exciting,” Wendy Lou, who oversees the Girl Scouts of the USA cookie program said a press release Wednesday.
“We’re thrilled to introduce the new, delicious Exploremores cookie to the iconic cookie lineup people know and love.”
The treat replaces S’mores and short-lived Toast-Yay! cookies in its 2026 lineup, the group said.
The new cookie comes after a rough 2024-2025 season in which Girl Scouts of Greater New York sales fell to 1.1 million boxes, down from 1.2 the previous year — the lowest sales in the region since the 2013-2014 season.
Other flavors this year include Adventurefuls, Caramel Chocolate Chip, Lemonades, Lemon-Ups, Toffee-tastic and Trefoils.
