One of the boys flashed a knife before grabbing the victim’s iPhone and a bag of clothes he’d been carrying, cops said.
A female accomplice punched him in the face during the early-morning mugging, police said.
The youthful ruffians fled out onto the street after the attack – but weren’t on the run for long before cops caught up to them, sources said.
The boys, 13, 14 and 16, were taken into custody, alongside the girls, 13, 16 and 18, the sources said.
Charges were pending against the violent crew.
The attack came about a half-hour after a masked duo robbed a 63-year-old man at a knifepoint further uptown, cops said.
The pair flashed a gun before grabbing the victim’s phone and $100 from him at East 98th Street and Madison Avenue in East Harlem around 2:45 a.m., police said.
The pair, last seen wearing black face masks, fled the scene.
The victim was not injured.
