The 49ers are moving fast and furious.

Moody missed a 27-yard field goal and had a 36-yard attempt blocked during Week 1’s win over the Seahawks — which Fox sideline reporter Pam Oliver said caused “two thrown helmets and a lot of ticked-off looking players.”
Pineiro, 29, spent the last three seasons with the Panthers, converting 92 percent of his field goal attempts.
“There’s options, just whether it’s stay the status quo, bringing in guys for workouts, practice squad, but we’re going through all that stuff right now,” coach Kyle Shanahan said of the team’s status at kicker on Monday. “I know the personnel department is going to look into all that stuff and give us those options.”
Pineiro previously kicked for the Jets and Bears and reportedly worked out for the 49ers on Tuesday.
It capped off a day of frenzied updates for the franchise, which saw them put tight end George Kittle on injured reserve.
Kittle hurt his hamstring in the first half against Seattle — after putting up four catches for 25 yards and a touchdown — and with the 49ers having four games in the next 23 days, the key offensive weapon can return as soon as San Francisco’s Oct. 12 matchup in Tampa.

Shanahan may have better luck with Jauan Jennings, as scans of his left shoulder came back clean after he was injured in the fourth quarter on Sunday.
The wideout is considered day-to-day and could suit up against New Orleans in Week 2.
“The MRI was good. We’re just waiting for a CT,” Shanahan told reporters Tuesday.

Another question mark for San Francisco is under center, where QB Brock Purdy is dealing with shoulder and toe injuries sustained in the season-opening win.
“I’d probably say the toe’s worse than the shoulder. … We’ve got to see how it heals and how the week goes,” Shanahan said.
If Purdy is unable to go, it will thrust Mac Jones into a starting role.
“If [Jones] has to go this week, he’ll lead the guys. The guys will believe in him and I know he’ll do his job at a high level,” Shanahan said.
