Pastor Giwa warned that fake men of God will suffer for propagating falsehood using God’s name before they leave this earth.
On Sunday, Adewale Giwa, the Senior Pastor of The Second Coming of Christ Ministry, warned that God will judge fake pastors before they die.

He disclosed this while addressing his members in Akure, the Ondo State, where he condemned the use of social media to castigate true men of God.
According to Giwa: “Can we say all pastors are not of God? When you say this one is fake, that one is fake; who is now being called by God?
“You say Adeboye is fake and doesn’t say the truth, Kumuyi is fake, Oyedepo is fake, but I can tell you that this is the deception of the devil.
“The devil and his agents have taken over the social media space if all these men are fake, who did God actually call?
“This means that those making all these claims are doing it to weaken Christians. When they are saying these things, you will lose interest in going to church; that is their gimmick.
“God revealed this to me many years ago. I sit and look at them on social media. Some of them castigating men of God on social media have their hair unkempt; you watching should have known that this person’s life does not please God, you should know that this one is a ready tool by the devil.
“Let me tell you, the devil can use anybody against the work of God but do not allow yourself to be used by the devil.
“Don’t misunderstand me, I’m not saying that there are no fake pastors or men of God, but it’s not of us to judge, their works shall judge them before they die.”
Pastor Giwa also cautioned against over reliance on social media because it’s not a consoler.
He highlighted that the joy from social media is only temporal and not permanent.
He said: “Many people derive joy from social media, they think it can console them, but social media is not a consoler. Only the word of God can console you.
“I have seen so many couples that when having problems, the wife picks up her phone and go straight to social media thinking it will console her, no.”
Highlighting James 4 verse 4 that ‘a friend of the world is an enemy of God,” Pastor Giwa noted that “It can only give you temporary joy, it can’t give you permanent joy.”
“If you are addicted to social media, then you have become a friend of the world, you are no longer a friend of God but that of the world.
“That was the reason why wrote in Galatians 3 to the Galatians Christians who were deceived by false prophets. They deviated from the true teachings of our Lord Jesus Christ and allowed false prophets to decide them by telling them hold onto the law of Moses, by telling them that if you are not circumcises, you can’t enter into the kingdom of God.
“But Paul corrected them that those circumcised that is killing, will that person enter into God’s kingdom?
“We should not be decided because so many Christians are decided through social media,” he added.
