In November 2024, PEOPLE reported that DeGeneres and de Rossi had relocated to the U.K. after finding a home in the English countryside.
“Ellen was in England house hunting in the beginning of October. She ended up finding a house that she loved and purchased it shortly after,” a source told PEOPLE at the time.
The pair were even spotted at The Farmer’s Dog, a pub owned by the English TV presenter and journalist Jeremy Clarkson in the Cotswolds.
“They hung out with [Clarkson’s partner, actress] Lisa Hogan and James Blunt, and The Corrs performed at the pub,” the insider added to PEOPLE.

The Cotswolds is a popular spot for U.K. celebrities to pick up a country estate. The Beckhams have a home there, as does Kate Moss, Elizabeth Hurley, the artist Damian Hirst, and former British Prime Minister David Cameron.
King Charles‘s estate, Highgrove House, is also located there.
Meanwhile, in December, the comedian shut down claims that her home had been flooded as England was hit with a spell of particularly bad weather.
After celebrating her wife on their 20th anniversary, DeGeneres added in the caption on Instagram: “P.S. for those of you concerned, our UK farmhouse did NOT flood.”
