Fernandez then climbed up to the roof of a garage on the property after he was stabbed, the sources added.

He was collapsed on the roof of the structure when cops found him, according to the sources.

The area where he was stabbed is a known drug location, and the young victim is a supposed member of the Trinitarios — a Dominican American gang founded in the city, sources said.

No arrests have been made yet, according to cops.

It is not yet clear if the property where the stabbing took place belonged to the victim or the stabber.

The incident remains under investigation.
