19-year-old arrested for role in shocking mob beating of couple at fiery NYC car meet-up

A 19-year-old was arrested and hit with a slew of assault charges Thursday in connection with the mob beatdown of a couple during an out-of-control illegal car meet-up in Queens last month, according to authorities.

Justin Aguilera was charged with gang assault, assault, riot, and trespassing for his alleged role in attacking a husband and wife on Nov. 22 when a mob of rowdy drivers took over a street corner in Malba and lit a parked car on fire, the NYPD announced on Thursday.

While cops escorted Aguilera out of the NYPD’s 109th Precinct stationhouse Thursday night, the teenage thug hung his head low and shot the occasional piercing glare at snapping photographers and reporters.

The shocking assault unfolded when a bunch of out-of-control drivers descended on South Drive and 141st Street, doing donuts and speeding over lawns around 12:30 a.m.

After victim Blake Ferrer told the ruffians to get off his property, they began kicking, punching, and stomping on him, he previously recalled to The Post.

They also hit his wife and then set a parked private security vehicle ablaze.

Ferrer suffered broken bones in the attack and was taken to York-Presbyterian Queens Hospital.

After the beatdown, two other suspects fled in a white Chevy Silverado heading southbound on the Whitestone Expressway, police said.

Previously released NYPD photos showed the two male suspects aged between 18 and 24.

It took Big Apple cops almost half an hour to respond to the mob because they had their hands full with other calls, and the incident was first reported as drag racing.

Police brass promised to step up patrols in the typically quiet Malba neighborhood “to ensure this doesn’t happen again.”
