In a heated Facebook post, shared Wednesday, she alleged her late son’s father, Weston Gosa Sr., told her the wrong start time and didn’t even include her in the guest list.

Whitney claimed Weston Sr. told her the funeral started at 4 p.m., when it actually started at 2 p.m.

“You had to be on a list to get into the funeral. Guess who wasn’t on the list? Me and all my friends and family were not allowed to come in,” she alleged in her post. “I HAVE SEVERAL WITNESSES who heard the funeral home tell me I was not on the list as well as themselves. It wouldn’t matter what time I got there I wasn’t getting in.”

“That is some evil sh** to do to someone,” she continued. “Why could we not just celebrate our love for Weston? You have to take this opportunity to make me suffer even more.”

Whitney also claimed she never received some of her late son’s ashes after agreeing to let him be cremated.

“[Weston Sr.] said he would get me an urn which I thought was a nice gesture but it turns out that was just a way for him to control how much of his ashes I would get which wasn’t much and in the end he never gave it to me,” she alleged. “I begged him to let me see Weston after they denied me entry at the funeral and he said it wasn’t his problem.”

Weston Sr. told a different story about Whitney missing the funeral to TMZ, however. He claimed that he personally called her about the strict start time a week before and definitely included her in the guest list.

The viewing was scheduled from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m., with the service set to begin right at 4 p.m. sharp. Because Purvis arrived after 4:15 p.m., according to Weston Sr., the funeral director told her it was too late to enter and the chapel doors were locked.

Weston Sr. claimed Whitney’s family was still able to attend the funeral, including her parents and uncle.

Whitney announced Weston Jr.’s shocking death on June 2 in a Facebook post. He was 16 years old.

According to Weston Sr.’s wife, Amy Gosa, the teenager was “not breathing” when they attempted to wake him one morning.

“We attempted CPR and called an ambulance,” she posted on Facebook. “The paramedics attempted it as well and took him to the hospital in Gordon County where he was pronounced dead.”

Weston Sr. told TMZ that his son’s cause of death has been listed as due to natural causes on his death certificate.

Whitney was cast in Season 1 of “16 and Pregnant,” which aired in 2009. She welcomed another son, River, five years after the show wrapped. She later lost custody to both children, and made headlines for a 2024 arrest over allegedly unpaid child support.
